1. WARRANTY/CLAIMS
The Customer is always entitled to legal warranty rights for a period of two years from the date of delivery of the product, under the terms and conditions of the law. If you purchased products not manufactured by ALFASTANDARD, you may be entitled to additional warranty conditions from the original manufacturer. The Customer may not claim any additional warranty beyond that to which they are entitled under the legal warranties or ALFASTANDARD, or the manufacturer's warranty.
Under ALFASTANDARD's additional warranty for its own-brand products, claims may be made regarding material or manufacturing defects. A valid claim will result in free repair or replacement of the Products, at ALFASTANDARD's discretion. If repair or replacement is not possible or reasonable, considering the costs involved, ALFASTANDARD is obliged, as a final remedy, to reimburse the costs. In the event of any claims for payment of damages or costs, the Liability and Compensation article applies.
After reporting the defect, the Customer must allow ALFASTANDARD to inspect the Products. Inspection of the defective Product takes place at the location where the Product is located at the time, or at ALFASTANDARD's facilities, at ALFASTANDARD's discretion. Transportation/return costs are borne by ALFASTANDARD, unless the warranty claim is denied, in which case the Customer must pay the transportation costs.
Any defects in the Products that result from normal wear and tear or any other external cause, such as, but not limited to, damage caused by transportation by the Customer, incorrect use, or if the Customer has made any repairs to the product without the prior written authorization of ALFASTANDARD, will not be covered by the warranty, unless such use or such repairs are inherent to the use of the Products.
We recommend that you write down the Product's serial number and keep it together with the invoice/purchase receipt, as it may be requested in the event of future warranty claims.
2. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
ALFASTANDARD's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. ALFASTANDARD will never be liable for any damages to the Customer if:
a. Damages result from non-compliance with the manufacturer's liability, unless ALFASTANDARD is legally responsible under the law;
b. The damages are indirect and/or consequential damages.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, or any other provision of these Terms, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits in any way ALFASTANDARD's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for any matter in respect of which it would be illegal for ALFASTANDARD to exclude, or attempt to exclude, its liability.
If damages occur, the Customer is obliged to limit, as far as reasonably possible, any further or other damages.
3. RIGHT OF RETURN / RESOLUTION
The Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract (applies to the act of purchase or order) within 14 days from delivery, in accordance with the terms below:
a. Right of Withdrawal
For distance purchases, the customer may cancel the purchase (rescind the contract) after delivery of the product, having 14 consecutive days to notify their withdrawal. The period begins on the date the product is received or, for services, on the date the contract is signed.

b. Effects of the Resolution
- We will refund all amounts paid (including standard delivery costs), unless you have chosen a more expensive shipping method.
- The refund will be processed within 14 days after communication of the resolution, using the same payment method or bank transfer (proof of IBAN required).
- The refund may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.
- Refunds will only be made after receipt of the products or proof of shipping.
c. Return of Items
- Mandatory conditions for returns to be accepted:
I. Products in perfect condition, without damage or signs of use;
II. Original packaging intact and sealed;
III. Inclusion of all accessories, manuals and associated offers;
IV. The product must be returned accompanied by the original invoice;
V. Only a pack may be returned in its entirety. If the customer wishes to return a product that belongs to a pack, they must return all the products that make up that pack;
VI. Return shipping costs are always the customer's responsibility.
- Process:
- The customer must make the products available for collection within 14 days after notification of the resolution.
- Upon request, ALFASTANDARD can organize collection (subject to prior acceptance).
d. Responsibility and Warranty
- The customer is only liable for damage caused by improper handling (in addition to normal product inspection).
- All products are guaranteed to be of quality in accordance with industry standards.
e. Precedence of Terms
- These conditions apply only to end consumers (individuals without commercial purposes) and prevail over the General Terms of Sale for cases not covered.
RETURN CONDITIONS
- Deadline: 14 days after delivery confirmation.
- Requirements:
- Product and packaging unchanged;
- Return with original invoice and all items in the pack (if applicable).
- Costs: Shipping at the customer's expense.

ALFASTANDARD does not participate in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or significant effect using customer data.
Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that has no legal or significant effect on the consumer.

• Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.

1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
a. DELIVERY COSTS
In addition to the purchase costs of the ordered Products, the Products are shipped from our distribution center, there is no possibility of refusing delivery or the costs related to it.
Delivery costs are clearly indicated on the Website during the checkout process. For deliveries outside of Portugal, delivery costs will be calculated and communicated at the time of order confirmation.

a. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
We will make every effort to inform you of the expected delivery dates when you place an order. The Customer accepts that the maximum delivery time may be 7 days, but never more than 7 days. Products will only be delivered after approval of the Customer's (contact) information. If, for example, the information does not comply with Article 1.1 of these Terms, ALFASTANDARD has the right to terminate the contract, in which case you will be informed by email or letter.
6.3 If any item is damaged or missing from your order, please contact us at 218860169 within two months of delivery or, if the order was delivered to a collection point for collection by the customer, within two months from the date the customer picked up the items from the store. Damaged products must be made available or left at a collection point for collection by ALFASTANDARD without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days from the day the Customer contacts us, unless otherwise agreed upon.
6.4 Products are delivered to the location specified at the time the order is placed and the products ordered. Ownership of the goods passes to the Customer upon full payment of the price and any other amounts. The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery.
6.5 The Products will be delivered (by a carrier) to the address provided by the Customer. Delivery times are indicated on the Website and during the ordering process. If you choose to place your order in more than one ordering process, different delivery times may apply.
6.6 Delivery to the Mainland
6.6.1 Deliveries are made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and it is not possible to specify the exact time, including orders delivered to ALFASTANDARD pickup locations for customer pickup. After shipping, you will receive an email with more information about shipping and delivery conditions.
For delivery to a pickup location, the order is only available for pickup after you receive an email confirming that the order is available for pickup. This email must be printed and presented upon pickup.
The delivery driver requires a signature for all items, and if you are unavailable to accept delivery, please be aware that items cannot be left in driveways, porches, or other locations outside the home.
When placing your order, please indicate the delivery floor. Please also note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes or P.O. boxes. An invoice is sent with the order, and the driver will ask for identification upon delivery.
Deliveries are made throughout mainland Portugal, including the following districts: Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Guarda, Leiria, Lisbon, Portalegre, Porto, Santarém, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Vila Real and Viseu.
6.7 Delivery to the Islands
6.7.1 As a rule, shipments are handled by the carriers ALFASTANDARD works with. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the items (see table). You will be informed of the amount upon order confirmation. Delivery costs are not included in the total amount displayed on the Website until the order is confirmed.
b. DAMAGE DURING DELIVERY
If the Products are delivered with visible (transport) damage, please notify the carrier immediately and contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Failure to do so will not affect your rights (to any warranty claims), but doing so will help us file a complaint or claim with the carrier or your insurer.

The applicable prices are the product prices displayed on the Website. All prices are gross prices (including VAT) in € (Euros). The VAT amount is displayed in detail at the time of order completion. You can pay by Credit Card,

Your order will be processed as soon as we receive payment.
Please keep in mind that payment for the Products must be made at the time you place your order.
When paying by credit card, the responsible authority for providing the service is STRIPE. No credit card information is provided to ALFASTANDARD, and completion of the transaction is subject to your acceptance of the terms and conditions, which constitute a separate contractual relationship between you and your bank. Please ensure you agree to the terms and conditions before choosing to pay by credit card.
b. SUSPENSION
The right to suspend any payment can only be exercised if your (counter-)claim concerns the same contract.
c. CHANGES IN SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
d. BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order placed on our website. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. You also agree that your comments must not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive, or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false email address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
These General Terms and Conditions are valid unless and until terminated by either the consumer or us. You may terminate these General Terms and Conditions at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or by ceasing to use our website.
If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these General Terms and Conditions, we may also terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly we may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).
19. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
The applicability of the 1980 Vienna Convention on Contracts for the Sale of Goods (CISG) is explicitly excluded.
18.2 Any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, these Contracts or their creation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
18.3 As an alternative to resorting to the competent courts, the Customer may choose to submit any substantiated complaint or dispute to a Consumer Dispute Resolution Entity with territorial jurisdiction for this purpose. Without prejudice to any exceptions or limitations to which ALFASTANDARD is entitled by law, the Customer shall always have the legal right to correct the performance of the contract, terminate the contract, and pay damages and/or costs. Regarding any claims for payment of damages or costs, the Liability and Indemnity section of these Terms applies.
